Lorde reveals on-set injury while shooting 'Yellow Flicker Beat' music video: 'Blood everywhere'

New Zealand-based songstress Lorde has opened up about shooting the music video for 'Yellow Flicker Beat', which features on the soundtrack to the new 'Hunger Games' movie, and confessed that she suffered a rather gory injury on set.

During a Twitter Q&A this morning (November 17), the hitmaker explained that she caught her bare foot on a staple while rehearsing for the shoot and ripped the skin: "I walked onto set in socks to practise the fall and ripped my foot open on a staple LOL blood everywhere."

She was also asked if she got the chance to visit the 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt.1' film set and confessed that it was an amazing experience: "It remains one of the most incredible special experiences I have had so far on this career journey."

Lorde then revealed that she loves the movie and thinks it's the best instalment so far: "Yes (I cried) and I also remember my fist going into the air... by far the most emotional of the 3 films. It really is a masterpiece."
