Last night (November 23), UK based boyband One Direction won three prizes at the American Music Awards and their parents have revealed that they're so proud of the lads. 

The heartthrobs picked up the Artist of the Year, Favourite Band, Duo or Group, and Favourite Album in the Pop/Rock category prizes, and Harry Styles' father Des took to his official Twitter page to congratulate the boys:

"It never stops! Very proud once again of H and the boys for the AMA awards. Artist of The Year is a big honour whatever genre you're in."

Louis Tomlinson's mother, Johannah, also shared a message of pride and tweeted: "Blissfully happy evening. Huge thanks to my boy for giving me another magical memory #AMA's." Johannah also thanked Directioners for helping the 'Steal My Girl' sensations achieve the success they have: "So proud. Every one of you should be so proud of yourselves for the continued support."
