AC/DC's Phil Rudd pleads not guilty to threatening to kill and drugs charges

AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has pleaded not guilty to threatening to kill and possession of drugs.

The 60-year-old's lawyer submitted the plea in court on Tuesday (December 2) after the musician was excused from appearing in person.

Rudd was released on bail and the case will resume in February.

An earlier charge of attempting to procure the murder of two men was previously dropped.

The drummer earlier this year recorded parts for AC/DC's new album 'Rock or Bust', which was released on Monday (December 1).

However, Rudd sat out of a recent promotional photo and videos for the tracks 'Play Ball' and the record's title song.
