Austin Mahone on his new book: 'I want to inspire my fans and young kids'

Singer Austin Mahone has written a book and he revealed that it was inspired by the interest his fans constantly show in his private life.

The book, entitled 'Just How It Happened', documents his journey so far in both his impressive career and personal life, and he told Sugarscape that he decided to write it in order to give fans a clearer insight into his existence:

"Because my fans have been asking a lot of questions and I basically just used the book to share my story with them; what has happened basically from childhood to now. I actually want to inspire young kids - if you work hard enough and put enough time into what you do then you're gonna get good results. So I just wanted to inspire them a little bit. I wrote this while I was on tour so I had a lot of down time to kind of put that together."

When asked about his rise to fame, he revealed that dealing with rumours is probably the toughest thing: "That's a hard one. I'd probably just say weird rumours of people that I date that I've never even, like, talked to before. I'm like 'I've never even met this person but still I'm dating them?'"

Mahone's book is due to be officially released in the UK tomorrow (December 11) and it will retail for £14.99.
