Ella Henderson has been added to the line-up for this year's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

The Brit is joined on the December 31 bill by fellow new additions Nick Jonas, Brantley Gilbert, Nico & Vinz and Train.

Taylor Swift will headline the New York's Times Square portion of the event as ABC countdown to the New Year bells.

One Direction meanwhile will perform on the other side of the US at the Billboard Hollywood Party section of the programme.

Ryan Seacrest will be on hand to present the show.
