Prides' Stewart reveals 'intense love of Christmas' and New Year's resolution ideas

Christmas Day is about to roll around and Pressparty recently caught up with Prides' very own Stewart Brock to find out what he wants to find under his tree and if he's planning on making any New Year's resolutions.

Prides is a Glasgow-based synthpop trio who recently shared an amazing end of year mixtape, which can be listened to below, featuring covers of Taylor Swift's 'Out Of The Woods', Ella Henderson's 'Ghost', and Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me'. The group will also head out on tour in 2015 and the jaunt is set to kick off on Thursday, February 5 at the Ironworks in Inverness.

What’s the one present you’re hoping to find under your Christmas tree this year?

I'd like a big bottle of Hendricks gin, and a StarLord cosplay outfit. And world peace. Obviously.

What is your worst Christmas memory?

I don't think I have any bad christmas memories! I'm blinded to any negativity by my intense love of the holiday. Even family arguments and crap presents add to the beauty of the thing. Vive La Christmas.

Will you make any New Year’s resolutions this year and if so, what will they be?

I'm a great one for the classics; drink less, eat better, learn a language. It'll be one of those, and I will fail as usual. You don't mess with tradition.
