Akon has revealed that his next album will feature five discs of differing genres.

The rapper has confirmed that his upcoming release 'Stadium' will be a bumper affair.

The effort will compromise of five different sub-albums - 'Pop', 'World', 'Urban', 'Euro' and 'Island'.

Akon wrote on Twitter: "Thru out this long wait, there has been fans who stuck with me. This Album is for you! 5 Albums 5 genres equalling STADIUM."

The hip-hop man has released one track from each disc, including 'Better' from the 'Euro' section and 'To Each His Own' from the 'Pop' record.

Akon's last album meanwhile came in the shape of 2008's 'Freedom'.
