Fleetwood Mac: 'New album and tour will be a beautiful way to wrap up this last act'

Fleetwood Mac have revealed that they expect to call time on the band after the completion of their new album and tour.

The band are currently working on a new record and they are due to play a slew of shows in regions like North America and the UK this year.

However, guitarist Lindsey Buckingham admitted that their next cycle will probably be their last.

He told PBS: "We’re going to continue working on the new album, and the solo stuff will take a back seat for a year or two. A beautiful way to wrap up this last act."

Fleetwood Mac meanwhile have reunited with original member Christine McVie for the album and tour, which includes a headline slot at June's Isle of Wight Festival.
