Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer recently topped a new poll created by EntertainmentWise that was looking to crown the Hottest Teen Idols of 2014. 

The lads, who are all in their late teens apart from 20-year-drummer Ashton Irwin, won with an insanely impressive 87.3% of the vote, beating the likes of One Direction who finished in second place with only 4.43%. 'Really Don't Care' beauty Demi Lovato came in third place with only 2.66% of the final vote.

Irwin, meanwhile, took to his official Twitter page on New Year's Day and confessed to his 3.26 million followers that he's in awe of everything his pop-punk band accomplished in 2014 and can't wait to see what this year holds for them.

The superstar wrote: "I'm in absolute amazement of what myself, the band and YOU guys have achieved in 2014... How did any of this happen?"

Speaking about 2015 recently, 5SOS told Rock Sound magazine that they have big ambitions for their collective future: “We're optimistic dudes, and we believe the future holds a lot for this band and our supporters. Let's see where we can take 5 Seconds of Summer!”
