Marvin Humes on 'The Voice': 'Rita Ora is hungry for her judging role'

Former JLS singer Marvin Humes is about to return to 'The Voice' as a host, along with Emma Willis, and he has spoken out about Rita Ora's role as a judge on the show

The pop star-turned-presenter explained that if he was a contestant on the TV vocal talent show, he would love for Ora to be his coach because her passion and dedication are unrivalled:

"Right now, this year, I’d probably go [with] Rita. Because she’s the hungriest. She’s new and she really, really wants to show to the others that she can do this really well."

He added: "Jessie J and Kylie Minogue were fantastic on the show. What Rita’s bringing different is how fresh she is right now. She features on the Band Aid record, she’s just had a No.1 record, she’s in the new 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie… she’s everywhere."

Ora recently told the Daily Star newspaper that she decided to accept a role on the panel because the show is so well-respected: "The respect levels for this show are really high. It is well-received and respected by other artists. That is why I joined, because I really respected the format and how it musically connected to the contestants."
