30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto has added fanny packs to his collection of official merchandise in an attempt to make the once laughable 80s accessory trendy again. 

The newly rebranded 'hip packs' are on sale via his merchandise website for $32 (£21) and they come in both black and grey, and red and blue designs (pictured below). The 'Up In The Air' star also uploaded a photograph of himself modelling the 'hip pack' to his Instagram page last week.

Leto, meanwhile, was recently confirmed to play The Joker in the upcoming new DC Comics film, 'Suicide Squad'. Other stars due to feature include Will Smith in the role of Deadshot, Tom Hardy as Rick Flag and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.
