Fleetwood Mac cut short gig due to illness

Fleetwood Mac ended a concert an hour early at the weekend due to illness.

The band were playing at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Nebraska on Saturday (January 17) when drummer Mick Fleetwood became unwell.

Stevie Nicks told the audience that the sticksman had been vomiting backstage before the end of the show.

A drum tech filled in during the track 'Go Your Own Way' whilst Christine McVie played 'Songbird' with guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.

The band later posted on Sunday (January 18): "Last night's Fleetwood Mac show in Lincoln, Nebraska ended a few songs early when the band's founder and drummer Mick Fleetwood became ill with the stomach flu.

"At this time, the band is still scheduled to perform in Grand Rapids, MI on Tuesday."
