The 1975's Matt Healy denies Taylor Swift romance: 'It's all bloody fake'

Rocker Matt Healy, of The 1975 fame, has revealed that there's nothing romantic going on between himself and songstress Taylor Swift

The pair met and exchanged phone numbers last autumn at one of his band's gigs, but Healy has now confirmed to Australia's 2Day FM that they're just friends and nothing more:

"It's fake. It's all b***dy fake. It's a farce! Yeah, we met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do and we spoke occasionally."

He went onto add: "She's the biggest pop star in the world and I'm in Australia. There's no like, relationship or anything happening. It's just funny how people really, really buy into that."

Back in December, he told Shazam Top 20 that he 'wouldn't say no' if Swift were to ask him out: "You’re calling that, are you? Let’s just see what happens. I mean bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She’s a sensation, I wouldn’t say no."
