The Vamps on 'Hurricane' being in a Disney film: 'We didn't think it would be chosen'

British pop-rock band The Vamps have opened up about how their song 'Hurricane' ended up being included on the soundtrack for a recent Disney film.

When asked by Celeb Secrets 4 U what it's like to have one of their songs featured in the movie 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day', the heartthrobs confessed that they didn't think their offering would be chosen for the project so it was a great surprise:

"It's very surreal. They came to us and asked us to write for the film, they pitched us the film and what it was, so we wrote a song and didn't expect to hear back. Then they really liked it! We went into the studio and recorded it, and now it's in a film!"

The lads, meanwhile, are currently in Australia where they will kick off their world headlining tour with a concert at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on January 23.
