Art Garfunkel has confirmed a batch of UK tour dates.

The musician will play a total of six shows across the country in September.

The run is named 'An Intimate Evening with Art Garfunkel' and it will open in Liverpool on September 16.

There will be dates at venues such as London's Royal Albert Hall before it concludes in Edinburgh on September 24.

Tickets will go on sale from 10am UK time on Friday (January 30). The full schedule is as follows:

• September 16 - Liverpool, Philharmonic Hall
• September 17 - Cardiff, St. David's Hall
• September 19 - Oxford, New Theatre
• September 21 - London, Royal Albert Hall
• September 23 - Gateshead, Sage
• September 24 - Edinburgh, Usher Hall
