Adam Lambert has revealed the title of his upcoming album.

The singer is celebrating his 33-year-old birthday today (January 29) and he told fans earlier that he was going to unleash some "surprise" news.

The US star treated fans to the name of his forthcoming third album, which will be called 'The Original High'.

Lambert also uploaded to Twitter a new promotional photo of himself (pictured below).

He added that the first single to be taken from the Max Martin and Shellback executive produced record will be released in April.

The singer wrote on Twitter: "Thrilled to announce the title of my upcoming album: THE ORIGINAL HIGH.

"The Original High is executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback with 1st single out in April."

Lambert recently revealed that he has signed to Warner Bros and will release the album later this year.
