Britney Spears' boyfriend: 'Our home base is the most important thing'

Pop superstar Britney Spears and her boyfriend Charlie Ebersol are 'homebodies', he has revealed in a new interview with People magazine.

Ebersol told the magazine that he learned strong family values from his parents, NBC executive Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint James, and explained that everything should centre around your home life:

"The thing that I learned from my parents was no matter how busy you are, home base is the single most important thing."

"As long as you're centering back to home base and that's the strongest magnet in your life, that everything else is OK."

He went onto add that they sometimes have to put more effort into communicating due to Spears' crazy work schedule, but admitted that "the best part of this relationship is when we spend time together".

Spears, meanwhile, is currently topping a poll of the stars the public most want to see perform at next year's Super Bowl Half Time show. Other acts included in the vote are Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and Taylor Swift.
