Meghan Trainor on meeting Beyoncé: 'I died - I blacked out'

'All About That Bass' songstress Meghan Trainor has revealed that meeting Beyoncé at last winter's Billboard Women in Music event was an amazing experience.

Speaking to Britain's Heat magazine, the hitmaker explainted that she was overwhelmed when the 'Halo' icon told her that she likes her music and that baby Blue Ivy dances around to her songs:

"[It was] just like a movie. She was touching my hands... I touched Beyoncé's hands! She said her and her daughter [Blue Ivy] jam to my songs and my music videos, then I died. I blacked out. I loved it. I think I said 'I love your baby, what a beautiful baby you have, thank you'. I panicked!"

Trainor, meanwhile, is up for the Song of the Year award at this year's GRAMMYs and confessed that even though winning would be a dream, she hopes Sam Smith takes home the prize as she's a big fan of his.
