'Take Me To Church' hitmaker Hozier, real name Andrew Hozier Byrne, has revealed that despite having risen to fame over the last year, he still doesn't like the whole celebrity scene. 

The musician explained to Vanity Fair magazine that he doesn't enjoy being somewhere to be seen and instead prefers hanging out with his friends and being in the company of those he knows and trusts: 

"I love a good party, but I'm not all that attracted to a celebrity lifestyle."

"I hate nightclubs, and I get fed up very quickly in crowded rooms. I enjoy being around people I know."

He went onto add that he is currently single although he doesn't feel lonely: "I don't have a girlfriend at the moment; I live out of a suitcase, and that's not very conducive to a relationship. But I'm not lonely, because I'm very close to my band when you live on a tour bus, you're really in each other's pockets."
