Paloma Faith slams 'degrading' Fifty Shades of Grey

Paloma Faith says she would have said no to appearing on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.

The movie version of the erotic EL James novel was released this weekend.

Ellie Goulding's track 'Love Me Like You Do' features on its soundtrack and the tune is currently No.1 in the UK.

However, some have criticised the book and film for portraying women as submissive to men.

Speaking to The Sun, singer Faith said that she would never have appeared on the soundtrack if asked.

She said: "I found it offensive and degrading. If they’d have asked me to do the soundtrack I would have said no.

"Luckily, they didn’t."
