Charli XCX signs with Select Model Management

'Boom Clap' hitmaker Charli XCX has been signed to Select Model Management, it has been confirmed.

She joins the ranks of other beautiful women in pop culture in Select's Women's Special Bookings division, including presenter Laura Whitmore, songstress Paloma Faith, Cher Lloyd, and The Saturdays' Vanessa White.

Kirsty Reilly, Select's head of Women's Special Bookings, issued a statement on the exciting news and admitted that she is proud to have Charli's "cool, fashion-forward look" on their books:

"We are so excited to have signed Charli XCX to Select Model Management. She has such a cool, fashion-forward look and is so different to anyone else we have on our books. We predict huge things for her in 2015 and we can't wait to start working with her."

During a recent interview with Stella magazine, Charli XCX admitted that she is embarrassed of her early music: "I don't count that as the beginning of my career. But whatever. Everyone did embarrassing s**t when they were 14. My mistakes just live online for everyone to hear."
