Charli XCX, Foo Fighters and Jake Bugg among winners at the NME Awards

The 2015 NME Awards ceremony is taking place this evening (February 18) in London and the first few prizes have already been handed out.

The Best Music Film trophy went to Pulp and Charli XCX won the Dancefloor Filler title for 'Fancy', and she thanked collaborator Iggy Azalea in her acceptance speech: "Thanks this is really cool. Thanks from Iggy (Azalea) too. Pussy power."

Singer Jake Bugg won the Best Solo Artist prize and Chrissie Hynde, of the Pretenders fame, announced that the Foo Fighters had been crowned Best International Band. Foo Fighters, meanwhile, also confirmed via video link that they will headline Glastonbury Festival this summer.

Glastonbury won Best Festival and Emily Eavis collected the prize, telling the audience at London's Brixton Academy: "Thanks so much to everyone who voted for us again this year. It means a great deal to us so thanks."
