Foo Fighters to headline Glastonbury
Foo Fighters have been announced as the first headliner for this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The news was confirmed on Wednesday (February 18) at the NME Awards in London.
The US rock outfit won the International Band prize at the event and mainman Dave Grohl quipped that he will see the UK this summer at Glastonbury.
The festival later confirmed the news on social media, writing:
"We're very pleased to confirm that @foofighters will headline the Friday of this year's Festival."
This year's Glastonbury Festival will take place over June 24-28.
