Vanilla Ice has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft in Florida.

The 'Ice Ice Baby' star is suspected of stealing property from a house near a building he was working on in Lantana.

Police say stolen items such as furniture and bicycles were found in the rapper's house.

They added that the items have been returned to the owner of a vacant property near a house that Vanilla Ice - real name Robert Van Winkle - had been renovating.

The musician has been released from custody and says the whole episode is a misunderstanding.

Winkle currently stars in renovation TV show Vanilla Ice Project on the DIY Network.
