Blur will release a new album called 'The Magic Whip' on April 27.

The UK act revealed the news at a press conference in London today (February 19).

The record was cut to tape in Hong Kong and it features the phrases 'Blur' and 'magic whip' written in Chinese alongside an ice cream.

The Brits followed the news by uploading a video for the new song 'Go Out'.

The reformed band will also Hyde Park on June 20 as part of the Barclaycard British Summer Time gig series.

It will be the fourth time they will have played the iconic venue.

Blur's last full album 'Think Tank' was released in 2003.
