Fifth Harmony, 5SOS and Ariana Grande earn Kids' Choice Awards nominations

The 2015 Kids' Choice Awards, which will be hosted by Nick Jonas, is due to take place on March 28 and some of the ceremony's nominees have finally been unveiled by Billboard. 

The magazine confirmed the nominees for Favourite Song of the Year and they include some of the hottest female acts out there right now.

Meghan Trainor is up for the prize with 'All About That Bass', Jessie J, Ariana Grande, & Nicki Minaj are in the running with 'Bang Bang', Katy Perry got a nod for 'Dark Horse', Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX are up for 'Fancy', Ariana Grande's 'Problem' is also nominated, and Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' rounds out the category.

The Favourite New Artist category sees the likes of Five Seconds Of Summer, Echosmith, Fifth Harmony, Iggy Azalea, Jessie J and Meghan Trainor going head-to-head for the gong. 

Meghan Trainor spoke out about the exciting news and is quoted by Billboard as saying: "I watched the Kids' Choice Awards every year growing up. I am so excited to be nominated for the first time and I can't wait to see you all there."

The 2015 Kids' Choice Awards will be broadcast in the UK on Nickelodeon on March 29 and on Channel 5 on April 5.
