Lorde to enter the studio 'within the next month'

Producer Joel Little has revealed that Lorde will begin work on her second album soon.

The music man oversaw the singer's 2013 debut album 'Pure Heroine' and co-wrote most its tunes.

Speaking to Triple J, Little said that Lorde is set to re-enter the studio "within the next month".

He revealed: "That's the plan, basically. We're just going to start writing some songs.

"We haven't got some planned out 'this is what it's going to sound like'...I think we're just going to start writing and when it starts to feel right, we'll know that it's right. It's pretty simple really."

Lorde meanwhile said in a recent interview that she has become more flexible when it comes to hearing other opinions.

She said: "I've definitely learned how to be more flexible. Before I would just be like: 'F**k it.' I have such a strong idea of what is cool and great for me. But now the circle of people I work with is huge and spans continents and you have to be conscientious."
