Ariana Grande is among the new additions to Japan's Summer Sonic festival.

The event is taking place over August 15-16 in Osaka and Tokyo.

Grande will take to the stage at the event, whilst Olly Murs is another new addition to the festival.

The latter wrote on Twitter today (February 23): "Excited to be joining the @summer_sonic line up with @Pharrell @macklemore @ArianaGrande & more in Japan! See you in August!!"

Other names on the bill include Pharrell Williams, The Chemical Brothers, D'Angelo and Imagine Dragons.

They're joined by the likes of Macklemore, Manic Street Preachers and The Script.
