Fall Out Boy on hanging out with 5SOS: 'They're really sweet and funny'

'Centuries' band Fall Out Boy have praised 5 Seconds Of Summer for being skilled musicians and for bringing rock music back to radio stations.

During an interview with Shazam Top 20, the rockers were asked their opinions on 5SOS and Pete Wentz confessed that they recently had a chance to spend time with them and were impressed by their music knowledge and talents:

"I mean, I think that the bands we see at Soundwave Festival are really cool and All Time Low are pretty big - they're killing it... we got a chance to hang out with the 5 Seconds kids when we were in California last week. I thought they were, like, really sweet and funny."

Wentz went onto add that he's always excited when bands play real instruments and bring edgier music back into the mainstream: "They like the same rock bands.. they weren't geeking out on us, but I like seeing that people are playing instruments and that rock music is being played on the radio. That's cool."
