Former 'X Factor' winner Shayne Ward has covered Sugababes' hit single 'About You Now' for his upcoming new record. 

The star's new album, entitled 'Closer', is due to be officially released on April 13 after getting funding through PledgeMusic and the lead single, 'My Heart Would Take You Back', will also be released on the same day. He is offering 'About You Now' as an instant download with pre-orders of the deluxe edition of 'Closer' via iTunes and his version of the dance-driven original is stripped back and piano-led. 

In a press release, Ward explained that he's been in the studio with some exciting names for this project and can't wait for it to be released: "The album is sounding awesome already. We have been in the studio with the legendary producer Mike Stock, writing and recording a whole host of new tracks that we are sure you will love as much as we do!"
