David Guetta: 'I don't even want to think about making pop records'

French DJ David Guetta has revealed that he won't be making pop records in the future because his passion lies elsewhere and he won't compromise his artistic integrity.

Speaking to MTV News, the hitmaker explained that despite his commercial success over the past few years he has no intention of branching out into the pop world and will very much continue on with dance music and 'crazy experimental beats':

"I’m just going to make crazy experimental beats, I don’t even want to think about making pop records, I just want to have fun working on purely DJ records.”

Guetta added: “It’s just as long as I’m happy doing this, people are giving me a lot of love and a lot of energy and of course it makes me happy, I’ll be here until people keep on giving me this. If one day people are tired of this then I’ll stop but right now everything is wonderful so I have no reason to think about this.”
