Philippines group request restraining order for One Direction drugs test

An anti-drugs group in the Philippines have formally requested a temporary restraining order against One Direction so that they can take a test for substances when they arrive in the country.

The group are due to perform at Manila's SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on March 21 and 22.

However, local group Laban ng Pamilyang Pilipino want the band to take a drugs test when they touch down off the plane.

This is because Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik were caught on video apparently smoking marijuana in a bus on their Where We Are tour in Peru last year.

The group have now submitted a petition in court for a temporary restraining order to force the band to take a drugs test.

Cherry Ching of the anti-drugs group, however, reiterated that they don't have anything against One Direction.

He said: "We love One Direction. We are not against One Direction. I love Harry, I love Zayn, Liam, Niall and Louis. I watch them personally on Youtube while they were auditioning for X Factor all the way through the live shows, I really really love them.

"Personally I would love to watch them, but the drugs - that's the issue. So the filing of the case, the Temporary Restraining Order is specifically targeted towards the holding of the concert pending the drug test."
