Rita Ora on 'The Voice' role: 'There are rules but I thought, 'sod it, I'll wear what I like''

Songstress Rita Ora has spoken out about her role as a coach on 'The Voice' and confessed that while there's pressure to look and act a certain way, she won't be bowing to it.

During a new interview with Grazia magazine, the beauty explained that she won't wear outfits she doesn't feel comfortable in for the sake of being a judge on television and has very much stuck to her guns throughout the whole process.

The 'I Will Never Let You Down' sensation told the publication: "Of course there are different rules when you’re on TV but I thought, “Sod it, I’m going to wear what I like!” And thank God I did."

She was then asked about Jessie J's recent criticism of her not being 'tough' enough with contestants and she explained that she believes she is bringing honesty and business-sense to the competition:

"There are always going to be comparisons because there’s only been two female coaches before me. The two women ahead of me were honourable in their own fields, but I’m bringing something new. I’m being Rita the artist but also Rita the business person because even though it is about my music, it’s also about the world you create around you. You’ve got to be smart."
