Brandon Flowers unveils new album artwork

Brandon Flowers has debuted the artwork for his next solo record.

The singer is seen out of focus on the cover of 'The Desired Effect', which acts as the follow-up to 2010's 'Flamingo'.

The Killers man's new album will be released in the UK on May 18.

The ‘Mr Brightside’ singer previously told the NME that his next set of solo songs would signal a change in direction for his music.

Flowers explained: "Even though I'm still young, you can start to get set in your ways. Change is good and there's always growth, I'm always looking for that."

He also acknowledged the influence producer Ariel Rechtshaid has had on his upcoming work:

"He's really knowledgeable about every genre; it's pretty incredible what he's able to reference and pull out. It's definitely going to be different, but I'm still in the thick of it, hammering away."
