Tributes paid after Rock School's Lil' Chris dies aged 24

Lil' Chris has died at the age of 24.

The singer found fame in the mid-2000s on the UK reality show Rock School, which starred Gene Simmons.

It is understood that he had suffered from depression.

"Shocked and saddened to hear the news about Lil' Chris. He supported us a while back and was a little star and an awesome guy. #RIPChris."

Collaborator Lloyd Wilkinson posted on Facebook:

"I can not believe I'm doing this and I'm completely devastated.
