Acts such as Blur and Laura Marling will perform on the first episode of the new series of Later With Jools Holland.

The BBC Two show is returning to British screens on April 14.

Blur and Marling will be joined by The Vaccines, Natalie Prass, Songhoy Blues and Davina And The Vagabonds on the first line-up.

Marc Almond meanwhile will be interviewed by host Holland.

The new series will follow the format of previous years, with a shortened live show taking place on Tuesday nights and the main programme broadcast on Fridays.

Acts due to feature later in the series have not yet been revealed.
