Jessie J auctions off tour T-shirt for Cancer Research and raises £2,000

Vocal sensation Jessie J recently donated an item of clothing that she wore on stage at one of her Sweet Talker tour dates to a charity auction and it has now sold for a total of $3,280 (£2,050).

The black sleeveless top, which is emblazoned with the number 29 and signed by the 'Price Tag' hitmaker herself, was sold via eBay.com and all proceeds from the sale will go straight to Cancer Research UK.

Jessie J, meanwhile, has confirmed that she will hosting the red carpet show at this year's MTV Movie Awards, which is due to take place on April 12 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. She shared the news online, telling her fans: "Are they ready for my Essex accent though? LOL."

The star was recently advised to tone down her live performances as they are affecting her health. Jessie J was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White aged 11 and it means she can have an irregular heartbeat, and she explained that she might need to lip-sync to her songs in the future:

"I have prided myself in having got this far without having to [lip-sync], but if my career carries on moving at the pace that it is, I will have to lip-sync to be able to stay well. My songs are so big."
