Usher and No Doubt to perform at Earth Day Rally

It has been confirmed that Usher, No Doubt and hip-hop artist Common will be performing live at the upcoming annual Earth Day Rally In Washington, D.C.  

The event, which is set to be co-hosted by Black Eyed Peas superstar Will.i.Am, will be held at the National Mall in the U.S. capital, and other stars on the bill include Mary J. Blige, Train and Fall Out Boy.

In addition to live performances, there will also be speeches from prominent figures in politics including United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim. The day-long celebration will take place this coming weekend (April 18) and it is free to attend. 

Speaking about the event in a video, Usher explains: "On Saturday, April 18 we're taking over Washington D.C. bringing you names like No Doubt, Fall Out Boy and yours truly. We're tackling climate change and extreme poverty all in one show. It's free! Come help us spread the message. Let's take it over!"
