Avril Lavigne prepares for release of Special Olympics track 'Fly'

Earlier this month, songstress Avril Lavigne revealed that she will be releasing a track named 'Fly' on April 16 to support the upcoming Special Olympics.

The track, which is due to drop this week, will benefit this year's Special Olympics World Summer Games and the event itself is due to take place this year from July 25 through August 2.

Back in September 2014, the beauty announced that she would be raising money for 30 Special Olympics athletes that will be competing in the 2015 Games so the announcement of this exclusive song release will come as no surprise to her fans because of her continued involvement.

Lavigne shared a photograph via Twitter last night (April 14), which can be seen below, and accompanied it with the following caption: "TWO Days until #Fly for @SpecialOlympics with @AvrilFoundation. Who’s ready?! #reachup." The rocker also teased her fans by revealing several lyrics from the track and tweeted: "It's your time to fly, spread your wings across the universe."
