Taylor Swift and Kanye West named in TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the World

TIME magazine has finally unveiled it's list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2015 and it features some huge names in music.

Rapper Kanye West earned a spot in the 'Titans' category and 'Shake It Off' superstar Taylor Swift placed on the list as an 'Icon'. Mariska Hargitay, who stars as Olivia Benson on 'Law & Order: SVU', wrote the entry essay for Swift and praised her for being such a thoughtful, poised and talented young woman:

"I’m amazed at how much earned wisdom Taylor threads into her work. She seems tuned in to the greater good, and she embraces—thoughtfully and authentically—the chance to contribute to the world. I’m always trying to find the best words to talk to my kids (and myself) about growing up, but you can’t top her beautifully articulated advice. The haters are gonna hate, but, well, shake it off. She illuminates our inner music that lets us dance to our own beat."

Other notable entries include 'Harry Potter' actress and activist Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian, and actress Reese Witherspoon.
