Rocker Avril Lavigne recently went public with her Lyme disease diagnosis and confessed that it has really disrupted her every day life, but she has now revealed that she is recovering well by only focusing on the positives. 

During a new interview with 'Good Morning America', the star admitted that she is choosing to look at the silver lining and found a new perspective from which to look at life following her diagnosis:

"I believe that I will come out of this healthier and stronger than I was before. I've gained a lot of perspective on my life. I'm choosing to look at the positives."

She has also revealed the music video for 'Fly', which she recorded to benefit the Special Olympics, and the track has received praise from other celebrities who have applauded her for donating all proceeds to the fantastic cause.
