Jennifer Lopez will receive a special tribute at this year's Radio Disney Music Awards.

The singer will collect the Hero prize at the event in Los Angeles on April 26.

The award will be given to Lopez in honour of her charity work.

The US star has a noted history of teaming with the likes of the American Red Cross and the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club.

The 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards meanwhile will be hosted by Kelly Osbourne and Zendaya.

Nick Jonas and Fifth Harmony are among the night's performers.
