Johnny Depp to feature on new Alice Cooper album

Johnny Depp is among the big names that will appear on the new Alice Cooper album.

The legendary shock rocker is due to release the mostly covers 'Hollywood Vampires' as his next record.

Cooper told Billboard that a host of famous faces will make cameos on the album.

Actor Depp - who has performed live with Cooper in the past - is on the record alongside acts like Paul McCartney.

The 'Poison' star said: "The album's done. It's mixed, ready to go and I'm very, very happy with it. I'm really happy with all the stuff on it.

"McCartney's on it. [Ringo Starr's drummer son] Zak's on it. Dave Grohl is on it, Brian Johnson - and in places where you wouldn't expect them to be, that's the cool thing."

The record is inspired by Los Angeles' Hollywood Vampires, a group of drinkers in the 70s who included the likes of John Lennon, Ringo Starr and Keith Moon.
