The Vamps' James McVey shares his own version of a wild after-show party

'Somebody To You' sensations The Vamps are currently on their headlining UK tour and member James McVey has revealed what he likes to do after finishing a concert.

Speaking to Glasgow's Evening Times, the heartthrob explained that he has quit drinking so there aren't any wild parties that happen once he gets off stage: "We've been out in Glasgow for nights out, but I don't drink anymore, so I tend to stay in now. I'm a bit boring, to be honest! It's more a cup of tea for me afterwards, than anything else."

The hitmakers are due to perform a show later tonight (Wednesay, April 22) at the Dublin 3 Arena in Ireland. The UK leg of the jaunt will come to an end on May 8 with a performance in Birmingham at the LG Arena. Tickets are on sale now.

McVey also told the newspaper that he's excited to be playing such huge venues because it motivates him to always be the best he can be: "It's quite a big step up but I'm lucky in that I know the other guys are amazing musically, and there's nothing to worry about there - I just need to up my game to keep up."
