Adam Lambert on not touring 'Trespassing': 'It wasn't the success I'd hoped for'

Superstar Adam Lambert is gearing up to release his brand new album 'The Original High' and revealed that he hopes he gets to tour this record because he wasn't able to do that for his previous full-length offering.

Speaking to Billboard about the fact that he didn't head out on a full tour to support his last album, 'Trespassing', the star admitted that it was a shame although he's still proud of the record's achievement:

"There was a couple of freestanding (American) dates. but unfortunately… I mean, you know, it's common knowledge Trespassing wasn't quite the commercial success that we all had hoped it would be, which would have supported a tour. I'm really, really thankful that the fans ate it up, and that we debuted at No. 1 on the (Billboard 200) chart. That was lovely. I stand by the album."

During a recent interview with 104.3 MY FM this week, the hitmaker confessed that he will do a tour for 'The Original High' if there's enough demand for a run of dates because that's his ultimate goal for this album.
