Canadian sensation Shawn Mendes will be performing live on 'The Ellen Show' next week on April 29 and he has told fans that if they email a specially created email address they might be in with a chance of attending the set. 

He took to his official Twitter page this evening (April 24) and explained: "Performin on @TheEllenShow Weds! LA fans email name, email, # to shawnmendesonellen@gmail.com first 100 will get in."

The Ellen Show's official website confirms his appearance and the accompanying announcement reads: "Plus, Shawn Mendes performs! The teen heartthrob, who went viral all the way to the Billboard charts, will take the stage with his song “Stitches," from his upcoming debut album "Handwritten"!"

Mendes shot straight into the No.1 position on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart with 'Handwritten' and Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke congratulated him on Twitter, writing: "MY SHAWNIEE I'm just so so so proud of you & beyond happy for you. #Handwritten is unbelievable. You're such a one of a kind talent. Congratulations on all that's come your way. Just the beginning my friend. I'M NOT CRYING @ShawnMendes."
