Mariah Carey has been added to the line-up for this year's Billboard Music Awards.

The singer will take to the stage at the Las Vegas event on May 17.

She will run through her newly debuted single 'Infinity'.

Carey joins the likes of Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea and Ed Sheeran on the bill.

The song 'Infinity' meanwhile will feature on the singer's upcoming greatest hits album '#1 to Infinity'.

The record is being released in conjunction with the start of Carey's forthcoming Las Vegas residency.
