Kanye West has been confirmed to perform at this weekend's Billboard Music Awards.

The rapper will take to the stage at the ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday (May 17).

It will be the first time West has performed at the event.

Other acts due to perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena ceremony include Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and Van Halen.

Taylor Swift is nominated fourteen times whilst Brit Sam Smith has thirteen nods.

The former will also debut her star-studded 'Bad Blood' video at the event.
