Hitmaker Jordin Sparks has revealed that she is no longer 'hurting' following her split from ex-boyfriend Jason Derulo.

Speaking to Billboard about her life post-Derulo, the songstress confessed that she feels as though she is finally 'over' her 3-year romance with the heartthrob and is now ready to move forward.

The 'One Step At A Time' beauty explained: "When it comes to the heartbreak and whatever happened in my past, at the time I didn't talk about it because I was still hurting. Now? I'm not hurting anymore. I don't live there, I don't live there in the past. I'm past it."

Sparks is gearing up to release a brand new record, entitled 'Right Here, Right Now', and admitted that she's particularly excited now because everything is falling into place: "I feel like the timing is so perfect right now, for everything. To be able to have music, finally, after so long, is just exhilarating."
