The Vaccines cover One Direction's 'Night Changes'

The Vaccines have performed a One Direction cover.

The indie group put their own spin on the boyband's 2014 song 'Night Changes'.

They played the track on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge today (May 19).

The song originally features on One Direction's latest album 'FOUR'.

The Vaccines' Justin Young meanwhile has previously had songwriting sessions with some of the pop group.

Speaking previously to MTV about Harry Styles and Niall Horan, the musician said:

"They are both natural writers. I love writing songs and love pop music, so the process was exciting. I don't think they are going for a heavier, indie sound.

"Maybe it's damaged my credibility, but it wasn't The Vaccines who wrote for them, it was me, so I doubt it's damaged the band's."
